System will not recognize USB key
Your system may not recognize the connected USB key. Please try the following:
Remove and reseat the USB key.
The USB key may not be connected properly to its input jack on the control console. Disconnect and firmly reseat the connector.
Reset your control console.
A reset is used to correct occasional product issues. It is not something that a product should require repeatedly. For more information, see Resetting your product.
Try the USB port on the back of the console.
Your system has two USB ports that can be used for system updates: one on the front and one on the back of the system console. If you are unable to update using one port, try the other.
Try a different USB drive.
In case the system is having difficultly reading info from this particular USB drive, try another drive. (Tip: If you have a blank drive, format it using FAT32 for best compatibility. On Windows, connect the drive, right-click it, select Format and choose FAT32. On Mac OS, open Disk Utility, erase the drive and select FAT32 while reformatting.)
The Control Console may need service.
If the steps provided do not resolve your issue, the Control Console may need service. Follow the link below for more information on how to service the Control Console. Depending on your product and region, you will be provided a contact number or the ability to setup service online.
